Medical Insurance can be confusing and frustrating!  Let me help you get through some of the hurdles by teaching you the terminology, basic practices, and your rights.  Our classes will be 1 -1.5 hours in length covering the following topics:

Basic terminology/Reading and understanding your insurance card

Referrals, pre-authorizations, and reading your Explanation of Benefits

Medicare, DSNP, Medicaid (Mainecare), and the ACA

Commercial Insurance and COBRA

Having multiple insurance plans – is it worth it?

Know the medical laws and what to do if they’re broken.
